Delete your MedVeda account & data

Option 1: delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open MedVeda and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account, purchases and saved data. It cannot be undone.

Option 2: request deletion by email

If you can't sign in, email medvedaforu@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my MedVeda account" from your registered email address, and include your registered mobile number so we can verify it is you. We will confirm by reply once done.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Profile details: name, email, mobile number, course and year
• Quiz scores and learning/usage records linked to you
• Push notification tokens
• Referral records and your referral code
• Your purchases and unlocked access. Deleting your account removes access to notes you bought and this can't be restored.

Data stored only on your phone (downloads, offline database, recent activity) is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

What may be retained, and why

Where the law requires it, we may keep limited transaction and accounting records (for example order and payment references, amounts and dates) for tax, audit and dispute purposes. Razorpay separately keeps its own payment records under its legal obligations. Retained records are not used for any other purpose. Payment, order and invoice records are retained for up to 8 years as required by Indian tax and accounting laws. Backups are overwritten within 90 days. Everything else linked to your account is deleted.

How long it takes

In-app deletion is applied straight away. Email requests are completed within 30 days of the request.
